Chicken, Bacon, Avocado Ranch Lettuce Wraps – Here is another healthy, keto friendly and easy recipe. The title of the recipe says it all. These are a mix of chicken, bacon, avocado inside a lettuce leaf with ranch on top.
It is really fast and easy to make and the outer lettuce wrap makes it refreshing.
You feel well after eating these. You know what I mean , no regrets :=)
Using a lettuce as a wrap makes it a healthier option and it adds up a little bit of fun to the recipe as well. What do I mean by fun ? We start by using the biggest outer leaves of the lettuce.
Those big leaves are a good portion for adults. As you go along the leaves of the lettuce, leaf size gets smaller and smaller. You can use the inner small leaves for small, fun size portions for children. Also you can use them as testers for guests.
You can also omit the ranch dressing totally if you want to go full keto and healthy, you might as well change it with something else entirely. It is up to you. Lets get to work! chicken bacon avocado ranch lettuce wraps
- 2 chicken breasts or thighs
- Half a tomato, diced
- Half an avocado, diced
- 1/2 lb bacon
- Ranch dressing
- Lettuce of your choice
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 lime
- Salt and pepper for seasoning
1-) Season your chicken and grill them for 5 minutes each side until it turns white on both sides. You can do this on a stove as well.
2-) Lay your bacons inside a aluminum foil covered oven tray (you can use cooking paper or glassware if you like). Set the oven to high temperature and cook the bacon for 15-20 minutes. Check regularly to prevent over cooking. Every oven has their own heating power 🙂
3-) When the chicken is cooked, cut them into small cube sizes and mix with cilantro.
4-) Wash your lettuce and remove leaves like a taco shell.
5-) Make your wraps with bacon,avocado,tomato,chicken and ranch dressing on top. Yumms.
