1 Ingredient Banana Ice Cream
1 Ingredient Banana Ice Cream -This is a healthy, easy and vegan recipe. Every now and then we had some bananas sitting around in the kitchen going brown. I always wanted to use them for something but never come up with a good enough idea to make them good, so someone in the house eats it.
Then I saw this idea of banana ice cream which is made with ripe bananas. It is just the thing I wanted. It uses ripe bananas and the outcome is everyone’s favourite, ice cream!
There is no way this ice cream lasts more than 2 days. Everyone will be ready to devour this. This is just one of those smart recipes where you hit 2 birds with 1 stone. Lets get to work.
Ingredients
- Ripe Bananas
Instructions
1-) Make sure you have a ripe banana because they gets sweeter when they are ripe.
2-) Slice the banas into small pieces because when they are frozen, it will be hard for the blender to process big chunks.
3-) Freeze the bananas in a plastic bag overnight( you may do this at least 2 hours but best outcome is overnight)
4-) Put the frozen bananas into a food processor or a very powerful blender. Tips: Take this seriously , you may break your blender 🙂
5-) Keep blending until bananas goes along this process – crumbly- gooey-oatmeal like- ice creamy. You can check the visuals for better understanding.
6-) Do not over blend it because it will start to melt.
Originial idea is to have a 1 ingredient ice cream but at this point you can use all your imagination and add anything you want to this mixture to find your best ice cream. tip: try cinnamon, nutella, peanut butter first 🙂
